I graduated in May of 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management and minor in Business Administration from the Hart School of Hospitality, Sports and Recreation Management. My education at JMU has taught me so much about the Hospitality Industry and Business. Throughout my time as a Hospitality student I interned at Massanuten Resort & managed and produced a Themed Brunch for 120+ people.

As the Special Events Intern I assisted and observed all aspects of running a successful event. As a mini management project I created "Standards of Operating Procedures and Timeline for Servers" for the weekly Murder Mystery Dinner.

Themed Brunch Event
At James Madison University the Hospitality Management Students are required to work, supervise and manage theme events. My themed brunch was a "Georgia On My Mind" brunch with warm hospitality & decadent southern cuisine. I was one of two back of house managers responsible food cost, food safety, and food production. Our beautiful event had a 30 minute reception with passed horderves, virgin cocktails and a four course meal with live entertainment.
